Module 07 - MARKSMANSHIP

KNEELING POSITION

Kneeling is going to be steadier than standing but not nearly as steady as the sitting or prone positions. In the kneeling position, there’s opportunity to tilt or waver, but it may be the best option in some rough terrain scenarios or when you need to drop into position quickly.

Shooting in Kneeling Position

Rest your right butt cheek on your right heel. Your left tricep should rest on your left knee, with your elbow positioned just slightly past your knee. This position only braces one arm, which means your other arm might go wandering if held in this position for too long.

Lefty?

Rest your left butt cheek on your left heel. Your right tricep should rest on your right knee.
